Autodesk University 2011 Legal Disclaimer - Crowd Source Edition

This is a little old but I entered a few 3D renderings into the #AU2011 Crowd Source Legal Disclaimer Project. Here are my renderings and behind the scenes photos.

I believe Shaan Hurley of Autodesk took these photos.

Handouts are done!

My handouts for labs CI6900-L and CI2543-L are done. I will be uploading them today.

77 days until AU 2012. Joing my class in learning how to export a simple Civil 3D corridor to Civil View within 3DS Max Design.

CI2543-L
In this hands-on lab, you will learn how to export AutoCAD Civil 3D data into Civil View in Autodesk 3ds Max Design software (formerly Dynamite VSP). Step-by-step, you will learn how to create a simple Civil 3D profile, assembly, and corridor. You will export the Civil 3D software corridor data to a VSP3D file format and quickly import the corridor data into Autodesk 3ds Max Design using the Civil View plug-in. You will learn how to modify the corridor and create items such as street furniture, vehicles, and trees using Civil View. You will also learn how to set up a daylight system and cameras to create still renderings and video animations.

Hope to see everyone there!

The Autodesk Certification area opened Monday the 28. The first exam I took was AutoCAD Certified Associate to update the AutoCAD 2011 Certified Professional certification. The second exam I took was AutoCAD Civil 3D Certified Associate. I passed them both. I'm happy I was able to get them out of the way early. I plan to take the AutoCAD Civil 3D Certified Professional and maybe a 3D Studio Max exam.
